The BBQ was the worst I have had in a very long time. The brisket was tender, but had no taste. The Lockhart sausage was not hot so it tasted greasy. We have been LONG TIME fans of that sausage, but were very disappointed. I think it was probably old. The potato salad and coleslaw were good. I would Not recommend this establishment to anyone.

If you're looking for the best tasting bar-b-que around, stop in San Marcos, Texas at Fuschak's! They have the best tasting meats with tons of flavor! Their meats are also very tender. They have a huge variety from brisket to ribs to turkey! they also have this thing called the "barburrito" which is their invention. what it is is brisket chopped up with refried beans, cheese, barbeque sauce, hot sauce and onions all rolled up in a tortilla. i get it without the hot sauce and onions and it is absolutely out of this world! prices are great, the restaraunt has wonderful texan decorations aswell. don't forget to try their homemade banana pudding or their apple cobbler YUM YUM YUM! i give this restaurant a 10!

We tried all of the meat except the ribs, and everything was very tender. But, we were dissapointed because the meat lacked flavor. The place is on the frontage of I35, but when we drove up we didn't see a smoker anywhere, so we were curious what BBQ they cooked their meat in. As for dessert, pecan pie wasn't even on the menu like their website says, and the restaurant only served small cups of chocolate pudding, which I don't think was homemade. My suggestion is if you're driving through Texas, stop in Austin for great BBQ. Austin has plenty of great joints off of I35.

This place has the BEST turkey breast I have EVER eaten. If you are traveling south, stop by this nostalgic log cabin restuarant and chow down on some of the BEST BBQ in central Texas. Look out for that pecan pie-YUM!
